Off Road Assets:
Start by selecting the Asset Type, Off Road.
Equipment Type: This list pulls from the Custom Equipment Type.
Asset Name is how you identify the piece of equipment.
Select the Manufacturer, Type, Model:
When entering equipment, selecting a manufacturer will filter the available types, and selecting a type will further filter the models to show only those specific to the chosen manufacturer and type.
Geo-zone Inner Radius (feet): will establish a geo-zone around the equipment when used as a source. Usually set to an average of 150ft.
Example: Excavator is loading trucks from a dirt pile and you want to track truck cycles.
Company: Use this dropdown to select the company that owns the equipment.
Navigate to: Manage > Company > Add/Edit Companies to add additional companies.
Equipment Status: Select Active.
Click Save and the equipment will appear in your equipment list.
Asphalt Pavers / Milling Machines:
Selecting Paver as the Equipment Type requires additional information.
Geo-zone Inner Radius (Feet): Example below.
FPM Non-Paving Threshold: Only applies to Pavers: This threshold determines the maximum speed, in Feet per Minute, that will be measured as paving. Paver operation speeds above this threshold will be considered repositioning or non-paving.
Example: The Geo-zone Inner Radius is represented by the green circle. The outer radius is represented by the blue circle. (Only displays for active shifts when the paver is set to the destination.)
