Contents of the Shipping Box
Inside your FleetWatcher shipping box, you'll find a binder labeled FleetWatcher installation and hardware guide.
Inside the front pocket, you'll find the equipment list, which matches each asset in your fleet to its compatible device. It's critical to follow this list to avoid installation errors. Each device has been carefully selected for the manufacturer and model of your equipment.
Different manufacturers can have different cable connections, and the devices themselves are configured for on road or off road equipment. It's important to follow the instructions exactly and make sure each device is installed on the correct piece of equipment.
If a device is swapped, for example, using an off road device on an on road truck, it may not report data correctly.
To ensure accurate reporting, always match the devices and cables to the equipment as outlined in the included instructions.
