Step 1: Check Device Indicator Lights

If available, use a magnetic dongle by waving it across the bottom/left section of the device’s solar panel.

  • 2–3 Blue Flashes → Device is powered on and should be reporting normally.

  • 2–3 Red Flashes → Device is shut off, usually due to a low battery.

  • No Light → Device battery is completely dead.

NOTE: If you don’t have a magnetic dongle, plug the device into a power source and proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: If No Light or Red Flashes (Battery Dead or Device Off)

  1. Plug the device in using the provided power cable.

  2. Confirm a solid red light appears (indicates charging).

  3. Once connected, the device should power on automatically.

    • Flashing blue and green lights will appear as it searches for network and satellites.

  4. Leave the device plugged in for 2–4 hours to recharge.

  5. Ensure the device is:

    • Installed in a location with direct sunlight.

    • Not placed under metal, as this blocks both charging and satellite/cell signals.

Step 3: If Blue Light Flashes but Device Isn’t Reporting

If you see a flashing blue light but data is not reporting:

  • Check Installation Location

    • Device must have a clear view of the sky.

    • Avoid placement under metal or other obstructions.

  • Inspect Solar Panel

    • Verify the solar panel is free of damage.

If the device is still not reporting after confirming proper installation and charge level, proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Contact Support

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Support:

  • Support Phone: 317-257-8740 Ext. 1

  • Information to Provide:

    • Device Serial Number
