Overview
The Live Feeds page gives you a "control room" view of your fleet's cameras. Instead of opening cameras one at a time, you can see a grid of snapshot images from every camera that is currently online, all in one place. This is useful for a quick safety check across a yard, plant, or terminal.

What Live Feeds Shows
A grid of camera tiles, one tile per camera that is currently online.
Each tile displays a snapshot image taken from that camera.
The grid automatically refreshes based on the Refresh Rate you choose.
This is designed for quick situational awareness across many cameras at once (yard/plant/terminal overview, quick safety checks, etc.).
Refresh Rate
On the Live Feeds tab, the Refresh Rate dropdown controls how often the system automatically grabs a new snapshot image for each camera while the auto‑scroll (“play”) feature is running.
The Live View tab shows a grid of snapshots taken live from the cameras.
There is an auto‑scrolling feature that starts when you hit the Play button.
The page lets users change the refresh rate for that auto‑scroll.
Separately, the whole page also does a background refresh every 5 minutes to add/remove cameras that come online/offline — that part is not controlled by the dropdown.
So in practice:
Selecting 60 / 90 / 120 seconds = how often each camera snapshot will be re‑requested and updated in the grid while the live feed auto‑scroll is running.
It does not change how often cameras are discovered/removed.
Settings:
Overview: What the Dropdown Controls
The camera channel dropdown in the Settings Drawer controls which camera angle/channel is displayed across the snapshot grid and live stream views on the Live Feeds page.
Dropdown Selections Explained
Front (Forward-Facing Camera)
What it displays: The primary forward road-facing camera feed.
Purpose: Captures the driver's perspective and external road conditions directly in front of the vehicle (standard default channel on all dashcam hardware).
In-Cabin (Interior / Driver-Facing Camera)
What it displays: The secondary interior-facing camera aimed at the vehicle cab.
Purpose: Monitors driver activity, safety behaviors, seatbelt compliance, and distractions (e.g., cell phone usage) inside the cabin.
Rear (Rear-Facing Camera)
What it displays: The video feed from a dedicated rear-mounted or tailgate/hitch-facing camera (such as the MiTac S30 or external rear form factors).
Purpose: Captures what is behind the vehicle, useful for reversing safety, load monitoring, hitch/trailer observation, and tailgating visibility.
Auxiliary (Extended / Multi-Auxiliary Cameras)
What it displays: Feeds from add-on auxiliary cameras connected to the primary camera device (e.g., side mirror-mounted blind spot cameras, hopper/bed views, or specialty equipment attachments).
Hardware Dependency:
This option switches the display to the auxiliary camera channel(s).
Important Note: If a vehicle’s hardware does not have physical auxiliary cameras connected, this selection will not display an active feed or screenshot. When auxiliary cameras are attached and configured, individual auxiliary angles can be viewed and toggled.
Live Feeds vs. Live View
Live Feeds works together with Live View, but they serve different purposes:
Live Feeds (this tab)
Multiple cameras at once.
Periodic snapshot images that update based on the Refresh Rate.
Best for broad monitoring (e.g., yard, plant, or site overview).
Live View (per‑camera streaming view)
A single camera at a time with continuous video.
Accessed from:
The Cameras page by selecting a camera for Live View, or
The Camera Trips page (for “In Progress” trips) via the “Live Feed” button next to “Retrieve Footage”.
Best for detailed, real‑time troubleshooting or watching a specific event.
When to use which:
Start on Live Feeds to scan many cameras quickly.
Click into a single camera for a Live View.
Note: To review a previously recorded event instead of a live view, go to Cameras > Events.
