Introduction:
Categorize the different types of companies you work with, such as 3rd party haulers (e.g., hired haulers or brokers), rental companies, or even internal divisions within larger companies. This helps create an organizational structure for distinguishing users and equipment associated with each company type
Navigation:
To access this feature:
Go to: Manage > Company > Add/Edit Company Types.
This page will display all company types.
Click Edit to make a correction or change.
Click Delete to remove the company type from the list.
Please note: Company types are linked to other sections of FleetWatcher, deleting the company type might result in an error. Always consult your CSS contact before deleting any categories.
Add a Company Type:
Click the grey “Add New Company Type” button in the top left corner.
A popup window will appear.
Company Type Name: Enter the name (e.g., Hired Hauler, Broker, Rentals).
Company Type Description: Enter a brief description.
Click Save.
Repeat these steps to create additional company types as needed.
