Move Equipment via GeoZone - [Legacy]

Report lists equipment assigned to one geo-zone but currently located in another

Introduction:

The Move Equipment via Geo-Zone feature streamlines equipment management by identifying and addressing discrepancies in geo-zone assignments. When the report is run, it lists equipment assigned to one geo-zone but currently located in another. Users can easily correct these discrepancies by selecting individual or multiple pieces of equipment and moving them to their current geo-zone with a simple checkbox. This feature is especially useful as a daily tool to ensure equipment remains accurately assigned, improving operational efficiency and location tracking.

Go to: Manage > Legacy Reports > Move Equipment via GeoZone.


How do I move equipment using the Move Equipment via GeoZone?

  1. Click Submit to view all equipment that is assigned to a geo-zone but is currently outside the assigned geo-zone.

    1. Narrow your search by using Project Type, Equipment Status, Asset Type, Equipment, Equipment Type, or Project to filter equipment.

  2. Start Date: Enter a specific start date if known.

    1. If no start date is specified, the last business day will be used;

    2. If running against all equipment you can only go back 7 days.

  3. A list of equipment will display:

    1. Current Project: Project to which this equipment is currently assigned.

    2. Date Geozone Enter: Represents the date the equipment entered the Current Project..

    3. GeoZone(s): The geo-zone the equipment entered.

    4. Move: select this circle to move the equipment to the geo-zone the equipment entered.

  4. Select the square checkbox under Move for each piece of equipment you want to move.

  5. Click the green button Complete Selected Moves.

  6. A Move Log will display the status of each move.

  7. The user has the option to print the log by clicking on the blue box, “Print Move Log.”
