Inactive Equipment Report

View inactive equipment, location, and maintenance status for assets with no recent engine activity.

Introduction

The Inactive Equipment Report is used to identify equipment that has not reported engine activity within a specified number of days. This report helps you monitor underutilized assets and take action where needed.

Navigation:

To access this feature:

Go to: Fleet > Equipment > Inactive Equipment


Report Filters

Use the filters at the top of the report to narrow results:

  • Asset Type / Equipment Type / Project: Filter equipment by category or assignment.

  • Number of Days (Required): Defines how many days of inactivity to include in the report.

  • Time Format: Choose to display time values as either Decimal or Minutes.


Report Options

These checkboxes allow you to add additional columns to the report:

  • Hour Meter

  • Lifetime Hours

  • Odometer

  • Maintenance


Generating and Exporting the Report

After applying filters, click Generate Report to display results. Use:

  • Print Table for a printer-friendly view.

  • Download CSV or Excel Formatted CSV to export the data.

Understanding the Report Columns

Column

Description

Equip Number

Pulled from the Equipment List. Click to open the Equipment Details page.

Manufacturer / Model / Equipment Type

Also pulled from the Equipment List.

Project

Displays the assigned project (if any).

Current GeoZone

Shows the last known location or geo-zone.

Asset Type

Indicates if equipment is On-Road or Off-Road.

Last Engine Date

Date and time of the last engine-related data transmission.

Days

Number of days since the last update.

Icon

A visual representation of the Reason for Update:

Reason for Update

Describes the last event (e.g., Engine Running, Engine Turned Off).

Hour Meter

Displays current hour meter reading.

Productivity

Click Show to open a Daily Productivity Report popup.

Breadcrumb

Click Breadcrumb to review the equipment’s breadcrumb trail on the map.


Color Indicators (Row Highlights)

Color

Meaning

Light Blue

Discrepancy: Equipment miles or hours do not match current values.

Yellow

Upcoming Maintenance: Odometer or Hour Meter is nearing a PM threshold (based on values set in the Edit Information page).

Red

Maintenance Overdue: Equipment is past its PM interval for Odometer or Hour Meter.

Teal

Not in Correct GeoZone: Equipment is assigned to a project but is no longer located within that project’s geo-zone.
