Introduction:
The FleetWatcher Map will display all active geozones and coupled equipment. Users can draw geozones and monitor truck activity in real time.
Navigate:
Click the word Map from the top legend.
Map Features
The Map in FleetWatcher is powered by Google Maps and includes the following features:
Map View, Satellite View, Traffic, Full Screen View, Street View, and Zoom options.
These features are provided by Google and cannot be customized within FleetWatcher.
FleetWatcher users can customize their map by using the Control Panel options.

Google Map Icons.
Map: Display view based on roadways and townships.
Terrain checkbox: will display the current terrain (elevation areas) on the map
Satellite: Display will switch to a Satellite imaging which can display more features such as buildings, forestry, roadways, etc. Best use for geozone creation.
Traffic: Display current traffic patterns on major roadways.
Fullscreen View: Click here to expand the map to fullscreen view.
Street View: Click the person icon and drag it to any street to display the Google Map street view.
Zoom + | -: Use this icon to zoom in and out of the map. Users can also use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on the map.
Equipment Icons:
The Equipment Icons are selected when the customer creates a Custom Equipment Type. Each icon represents a piece of equipment that is coupled to a FleetWatcher device. Only coupled equipment will display on the Map.
Equipment Card:
A Equipment Card is information that displays when you click on any equipment icon. Each asset type, (On Road, Off Road, or BLE Asset) will display unique details based on the asset types. The top section of each equipment card will display the same information.
The Asset Name is listed at the top. This hyper link will open the Equipment Details window.

Customer using Driver Safety, the drivers name will appear next to the asset name.
Scale Asset Name: Click See More to display equipment alias.
This information pulls from the Add / Edit Equipment page Equipment Aliases column.
Last Transmission: The last transmission from the device
Date / Time: When the transmission was received.
BreadCrumb Trail: Provides the last 12 hours of activity
Equipment Card: On / Off Road Equipment:
Speed / Heading: Displays the speeding and head of the last transmission.
Hour Meter / Odometer: Displays the current Hour and Odometer of the equipment.
Users can add Hour Meter and Odometer reading when coupling a device.
BUS connected devices can pull Hour Meter and Odometer readings depending on the make and model of the equipment.
Project: If the equipment is assigned to a project the name will display here.
Mobile Phone: If the customer is using Driver Safety the phone number of the driver will appear here.
Latitude / Longitude: The GPS location of the device based on the last transmission.
Last PM Odo: Displays the odometer of the Last Preventative Maintenance
Next PM Odo: Displays the odometer of the Next Preventative Maintenance
Last Load:
Customers that participated in FleetWatcher Scale Integration will see Last Load details each time a truck is issued a scale ticket from the customers loadout system.
Ticket Date: Displays the Date/Time of the last ticket issued to the equipment.
Ticket Number: Scale Ticket number.
Phase Code: Phase code will display here.
Material Name: The type of material.
Net UST: The tonnage of the material.
Source Plant: The location where the truck was loaded.
Loaded / Unloaded Icon:
Equipment issued a scale ticket will display a Loaded icon until the truck reaches the destination. Once it leaves the destination the icon will show Unloaded.
Green or Red Truck Halo:
Equipment on Web and Mobile will display halos to indicate movement:
green for moving: Exceeds 2MPH
red for stopped: Below 2 MPH
no halo for not operating.
The halo will turn green when the truck exceeds 2 MPH, and an arrow within the halo will show its direction. There are eight directional halos (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW), with movement rounded to the nearest direction.
AaaD (App as a device) trucks will follow the same halo rules as other trucks.
Important Note for Off-Road Equipment: There is a caution that because off-road equipment often moves at speeds below 2 mph, the red stopped halo may disguise working equipment. For more accurate movement or working status tracking, it is recommended to check the GPS Transmission Activity or Productivity reports.
Asphalt Pavers and Milling Machines:
Pavers and Mills with a Geo-Radius will display with the Equipment Radius visible on the map.
The inner radius is set in Add / Edit Equipment.
The outer radius is set in MMS Controls or when Activating or Editing a Shift.
BLE Asset:
The BLE Asset equipment card will display Last Seen By with a user's name. This occurs when a FleetWatcher Mobile app detects the BLE Beacon device.
Geozone and Project options:
Right clicking on the map will open the Project options window.
Select “Create Geozone”enables the user to draw a Geozone and Create a New Project.

Copy Address:
Left click on a map location will present an address. Use the copy icon to copy the address to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere as needed.
