Introduction
The Load Counts by Truck report tracks how many loads a truck completes and how long it takes to complete each cycle. To work correctly, the equipment must have PTO wired into the blue wire for accurate dump detection. This report helps evaluate fleet efficiency, distance traveled between loads, and time between dump events.
Navigation
To access this feature:
Go to: Manage > Legacy Reports > Load Counts by Truck
Use This Report To:
Count the number of load/dump cycles for a selected truck
Calculate time between dump events (cycle time)
View distances traveled between dump events
Access breadcrumb trail visualizations for each cycle
Step-by-step Instructions
Go to Manage > Legacy Reports > Load Counts by Truck
Under Report Filters:
Enter a Minimum Cycle Time in minutes to filter out false cycles
Select a specific piece of equipment (required)
Enter a Report Start Date and End Date
(Optional) Set Asset Type in the left panel
Click Generate Report
Column Definitions
Row Number: Simple row count for reference
Load Count Time: Timestamp of the dump event
Cycle Time: Time since the last dump event
Travel Distance: Distance traveled between dumps
Dump Location: GeoZone name where the dump occurred (multiple zones shown if overlapping)
Cycle Route: Click Route Path to view a breadcrumb map of the truck’s movements leading up to the dump

Clicking Route Path opens a map showing the vehicle’s breadcrumb trail before the dump event:
View path, direction of travel, and event markers
Use Animate, Legend, and Log controls to interact with the route
Export Options
After generating the report, you can export using:

Requirements
This report requires accurate dump event detection via PTO
FleetWatcher devices use the blue wire to monitor PTO activity
Customers typically connect the blue wire to the truck’s PTO, which controls the dump bed
When the dump bed is raised, FleetWatcher logs:
How many times it’s raised
How long it stays raised
If the PTO wire is not connected, dump events and cycle times will not be logged
