Introduction
The First Load of Shift Report captures time metrics tied to the very first load delivered in a paving shift. Use this report to track cycle timing, destination arrival, and dump events — helping teams pinpoint startup delays and improve efficiency.
📌 This report is only available for customers with Scale Integration enabled.
Navigation
To access this report:
Go to: MMS > MMS Reports > First Load of Shift Report
Use This Report To:
Review the first load delivered for each paving shift
Identify delays between load, arrival, and dump events
Compare duration metrics like:
Load to Destination Time
Arrival to Dump Time
Total Load to Dump Cycle
View arrival times at both Outer and Inner radii of the paver
Open the shift’s full Shift Card or linked Scale Ticket from the results
Report Setup
Date Range
Select a Report Start Date and Report End Date
This report supports a multi-day view, but is not recommended for active shifts running today
Format Options
Time Format: Choose between:
Decimal (e.g., 1.75 hours)
Minutes (e.g., 105 minutes)
Click Generate Report to run the report.
Report Columns
Each row represents the first load on a completed paving shift and includes:
Field | Description |
Shift Name | Clickable link to open full Shift Card |
Shift Date | Clickable link to open the Scale Ticket for first load |
First Load Time | When the load was issued |
Load → Destination Duration | Travel time from loadout to arrival |
Arrival Time (Outer Radius) | Time truck entered paver's outer radius |
Arrival Time (Inner Radius) | Time truck entered inner radius (at paving start) |
First Dump Time | When the load was actually dumped |
Arrival → Dump Duration | Delay between arrival and dump |
Load → Dump Duration | Full cycle from load to dump |
Notes & Limitations
Paving Shifts Only: This report is currently optimized for paving jobs. Milling job support is not yet available.
Sent Loads Only: The report includes Sent Loads only (represented by red lines in LCA). Received Loads (yellow lines) are excluded.
Data Accuracy Warning: If the shift’s Source, Destination, or radius settings were changed during or after the shift, arrival and timing results may be inaccurate.
Active Shifts: Running the report for the current date on active shifts may cause inconsistencies.
