Last GPS Location Report - [Legacy]

Use this report to view the most recent GPS transmission from each piece of equipment.

Introduction

The Last GPS Location Report helps you identify equipment that may not be updating properly. It shows the last known location and transmission status for each unit and includes optional fields for deeper diagnostics. Use this report to quickly spot offline assets or verify their last active location.

Navigation

To access this feature:

Go to: Manage > Legacy Reports > Last GPS Location Report

Use This Report To:

  • Identify equipment not currently reporting GPS updates

  • Confirm a unit’s last known address

  • Access breadcrumbs for more location detail

  • See if a unit is assigned to a project but outside of it

  • Track BLE tools using the Field App scan history (Last Seen By)

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Go to Manage > Legacy Reports > Last GPS Location Report

  2. (Optional) Use the Asset Type filter to view:

    • On-Road

    • Off-Road

    • BLE Asset

  3. Click Generate Report

  4. (Optional) Use the checkboxes under Report Options to display:

    • Equipment Manufacturer

    • Model

    • Latitude (Lat)

    • Longitude (Lng)

What’s Displayed

Each row in the report includes:

  • Equip Number – Click to open the Equipment Details pop-out

  • Equipment Type – Asset classification (e.g., Daycab, Sleeper Truck)

  • Project – Assigned project (if any)

  • Current GeoZone – Detected location area

  • Last GPS Date – Date/time of the last GPS signal

  • Icon – Status symbol representing the reason for update

  • Reason for Update – Trigger that sent the GPS data (e.g., Engine Running, Bluetooth Power Off)

  • Hours Until Next PM / Miles to Next PM – Optional preventative maintenance tracking

  • Asset Type – On-Road / Off-Road

  • Breadcrumb – Click for full breadcrumb trail view

  • Address – Geocoded location of the last GPS ping

  • Last Seen By – Field App user who last scanned a BLE Asset

  • Device Signal Strength – (If available) shows BLE or GPS signal level

FastFeatures

  • Not in Correct GeoZone: If a unit is assigned to a project but detected elsewhere, the row will be shaded blue

  • Asset Type Filter: Easily filter for On-Road, Off-Road, and BLE Asset

  • Last Seen By Column: Tracks who last scanned the BLE Asset via the Field App

    • Only BLE Assets with BLE pucks return data in this column

Export Options

  • Print Table – Browser-friendly printout

  • Download CSV – Spreadsheet export

  • Excel Formatted CSV – Cleanly formatted for Excel
