Introduction:
The Device Inventory Summary report provides a complete list of tracking devices in your fleet. You can filter by device status or company, customize the report columns, and export the data in multiple formats. This report is available for On-Road, Off-Road, and BLE Asset.
Navigation:
To access this feature
Go to: Fleet > Devices > Device Inventory Summary
Use This Report To:
View installed, uninstalled, or new GPS devices
Monitor last transmission times
Identify devices with low internal or equipment battery
Access installation history or equipment cards via device links
Export inventory data to Excel or CSV

Step-by-step Instructions
Device Status:
Use the dropdown to filter devices by status:Installed – currently assigned to equipment
Uninstalled – previously installed but now inactive
New – has never been coupled to equipment
Company:
A selection box that displays all available companies entered on the Add/Edit Companies page. Use this to filter devices by company, if applicable.Report Options:
PEG Descr and Connection Type are selected by default
Select or deselect additional fields as needed
To reset back to the default column selections, click Reset Default Optional Columns
After updating options, click Generate Report to refresh the table
Export or Print Options:
Print Table
Download CSV – raw data format
Excel Formatted CSV – pre-formatted for easier viewing in Excel

Report Summary Section
At the top of the report, you’ll see the total number of devices, dynamically updated based on filters:
Total number of Devices: 119 (91 Installed, 21 Uninstalled, 7 New)
Below the count is a color-coded status legend, which applies to the Device Status and Last Transmitted columns:
Color | Meaning |
🟩 Green | Device has transmitted within the last day |
🟨 Yellow | Device has not transmitted within the last 2 days |
🟥 Red | Device has not transmitted within the last 8 days |
🟦 Blue | Device is uninstalled |
🟪 Purple | Device is new |
Table Interactions & Column Behavior
The main table displays all relevant information for each device. Not all columns will have data, and not all columns contain links.
Linked Columns
ESN:
Displays the device’s Electronic Serial Number
For installed devices, this becomes a clickable link
Clicking it opens a popup with a brief installation history report
Equipment Number:
If shown, clicking this opens the equipment details card
This is the only other column with a hyperlink

Most column headers also include hover-over tooltips with short explanations
Battery Status Color Coding
Some versions of this report include columns for Equipment Battery and Internal Battery % Remaining. These columns use the following color indicators:
Equipment Battery (Voltage):
🟩 Green = 11–16 or 22–32 volts
🟨 Yellow = 9–11 or 18–22 volts
🟥 Red = 3–9 or 16–18 volts
Internal Battery Percentage:
🟩 Green = ≥ 20%
🟨 Yellow = 10% to <20%
🟥 Red = < 10%

Customer Questions:
Why don’t all devices show a Reporting Frequency on the Device Inventory page?
The Reporting Frequency field is only shown when we have enough recent, consistent data from a device to reliably calculate how often it reports.
