Introduction
The Driver Safety Leaderboard displays a performance summary for every driver tracked by your active FleetWatcher devices. Scores are calculated using mileage and infraction data pulled from each driver’s activity, and visualized using charts and detailed tables.
The page includes tabs for:
Driver Score (default view)
Total Incidents
Daily and Type Breakdown
Driver Table and Below-Threshold Summary
🧭 Navigation
To access this feature:
Go to: Fleet > Driver Safety > Driver Safety Leaderboard
🔄 Default Load Settings
When navigating to the Driver Safety Leaderboard, the report automatically loads with data for the current month. All graphs and the full driver table appear by default. Use the filters at the top to adjust the date range, company, or mileage threshold, then click Get Summary to reload the view.
📋 Filter Options
At the top of the page, you can adjust the report view using the following options:
Company – Filter by Company or view “All Companies”
Preset Range – Select from common date ranges like:
Current Month
Last Month
Current Week / Last Week
Current Quarter / Year / Last Year
Start/End Date – Define a custom date range
Mileage Threshold – Set a minimum miles-driven threshold (defaults to 10 miles)
Include Inactive Drivers –
Checked: Includes inactive drivers in the results
Unchecked: Hides inactive drivers
ℹ️ Inactive Drivers are defined as users with no activity during the time period or who are explicitly set to Inactive on FleetWatcher. Driver Safety Graphs always exclude inactive drivers visually, even if included in the data export.
📊 Driver Score and Incident Tabs
Below the filters are two tabs:
Driver Score (default)
Displays a horizontal bar chart of driver scores. Each bar is color-coded based on performance grade:
🟦 90–100% = A Range
🟩 80–89% = B Range
🟨 70–79% = C Range
🟧 60–69% = D Range
🟥 (red) Below 59% = F Range
📌 Hovering over a bar shows:
Driver name
Score and grade (e.g., 100% A+)
Miles driven
Number of safety concerns

Total Incidents
Click the Total Incidents tab to view this bar chart.
Displays a horizontal bar chart ranking drivers by total number of safety infractions.

📌 Hovering over a bar shows the incident breakdown per driver.
3. Infraction Breakdown Graphs (Lower Section)
Left Graph: “Infractions for All Drivers by Type per Day”
Each date shows stacked infraction counts
Color-coded by infraction type
Helpful for spotting spikes or daily trends
Right Pie Chart: “Type Breakdown for This Period”
Shows overall ratio of infraction types
Hover for infraction totals and percentages
📄 Driver Safety Table
Beneath the graphs, the leaderboard continues in table format.
Columns include:
Driver (clickable link to Driver Safety Details)
Employee ID
Driver Score
Miles per Infraction
Total Miles Driven
Total Hours Logged
Count of each infraction type:
Speeding, Moderate Speeding, Severe Speeding
Hard Turns, Harsh Braking, Harsh Acceleration
📌 Tip: This is where you can drill down into the individual performance metrics for each driver.
👀 Drivers Below Mileage Threshold
This section is hidden by default and expands when you click “Show Details.”
Shows drivers who did not meet the Mileage Threshold set at the top of the page.
Drivers with fewer than 10 miles per day will not be scored.
Still useful for identifying under-utilization or new driver activity.
📥 Export Options
At the top of the report, you can export data in multiple formats:
Table CSV – Basic table export
All Details CSV – Includes graphs, infractions, and scoring logic
Export PDF – Printable version of the entire report
Print Report – Send to connected printer
