Introduction
The Stop Report provides detailed insights into when individual pieces of equipment stop moving for a specified duration. This allows you to monitor idle time and identify potential inefficiencies.
Navigation:
To access this feature:
Go to: Fleet > Location > Stop Report
✅ Generating the Stop Report
To generate the report:
Set the Not Moving Threshold:
Enter the time in minutes to define how long equipment must be stopped before it is included in the report.
For example, setting the threshold to 20 minutes will show all instances where the equipment was stopped for 20 minutes or longer.
Select Equipment:
Choose a specific piece of equipment from the dropdown menu.
Choose a Date:
Select the desired date.
If no date is specified, today’s date will be used by default.
Click Generate Report:
The report will display all stop events meeting the threshold criteria.
📊 Understanding the Report Results
The Stop Report displays the following information:
Stopped Moving Date & Time: When the equipment first stopped.
Stop Duration: The length of time the equipment was idle.
Started Moving Again: The date and time the equipment resumed moving.
Related Geo-zones: Any geo-zones associated with the stop location.
Address: The location where the equipment was stopped.
Map Button:
Click the Map button to view the stop location on an interactive map.
🔍 Example Scenario
If a truck stopped moving for 20 minutes or longer five times in one day, the report will show five separate entries, each with its own:
Stop time and duration
Restart time
Location details
This detailed breakdown helps you track idle time and review equipment activity at specific locations. 🚜📍
View Breadcrumb Trail: Click the button to open the breadcrumb trail.
Stopped Moving: The time and date the vehicle stopped.
Stop Duration: The duration of the stop.
Start Moving: The time and date the vehicle started moving again.
GeoZone: Related geo-zone if applicable.
Address: Reverse Geocoded address.
Map: New tab to open map location of asset
Report Options: Project: This option will add a Project column header and will display the project the equipment is assigned to or display Unassigned.
Exporting Methods:
Print Table: keeps the current display of the FleetWatcher website for printing purposes
Download CSV:
Excel Formatted CSV:
Download Full CSV Data: This will output the data so that a pivot table may be created when the CSV is opened in Microsoft Excel
