How Hour Meters Are Populated
Hour meter readings are recorded differently based on the device connection type:
Hardwired Devices:
The hour meter value is manually entered during the device coupling process.
To make changes later, go to Manage > Equipment > Adjust Meters to update readings.
BUS-Connected Devices:
These devices may automatically receive hour meter data from the engine, depending on compatibility.
You can apply a correction by editing the equipment under Add/Edit Equipment using the BUS Offset field.
Preventative Maintenance:
Customers using Preventative Maintenance can also update hour meter values when logging a new PM record.
