FleetWatcher Log

Track all user and driver record creations, updates, and deactivations for audit and compliance purposes.

Introduction

The FleetWatcher Log tracks all activities involving user and driver accounts, including creations, updates, and deactivations. This report provides detailed before-and-after data change tracking to support SOC-2 compliance and customer audit needs. Password fields are obscured for security.

Navigation

To access this feature:

Go to: Manage > People > FleetWatcher Log


Use This Report To:

  • View account creation, update, or deletion events

  • Identify when user or driver records were modified

  • Track the user making the changes and timestamps

  • Audit before-and-after values for fields updated

  • Support internal compliance or SOC-2 auditing


Step-by-Step Instructions

Filtering and Generating the Report:

  1. Set the Start Date and End Date for your report.

  2. (Optional) Filter by:

    • Log Type: All Logs or specific internal database logs

    • Select Users: Search by all users or a specific user

    • Action Type: Choose Create, Update, or Delete

  3. Click Generate Report to load the results.

Reviewing the Report:

  • Review the following data columns:

    • Date/Time: When the action occurred

    • User Who Made Change: Admin or user who performed the action

    • Affected User/Driver: Whose record was changed

    • Action: Create, Update, or Delete

    • Table: Database table affected

    • Field: Specific field that was changed

    • Before: Original value (shown unless sensitive, like password)

    • After: Updated value (shown unless sensitive, like password)

Important Details:

  • Password changes display "Private Field" for Before and After values.

  • Every individual field change generates its own row for clear tracking.

  • Driver deactivations (not deletions) are recorded and timestamped.

  • No date range entered defaults the report to the last 24 hours.
