Rolling Feet Per Minute - [Legacy]

Monitor active shifts and view real-time rolling performance (feet per minute) for destination equipment.

Introduction

The Rolling Feet Per Minute report displays shifts with equipment set as the destination and that have registered rolling activity within the last X minutes. This real-time tool is typically used during paving operations to monitor current feet-per-minute output by destination equipment.

Navigation

To access this feature:

Go to: Manage > Legacy Reports > Rolling Feet Per Minute

Use This Report To:

  • Monitor live performance of equipment receiving material

  • View rolling speed in feet per minute

  • Identify low or idle output during active shifts

  • Adjust visibility window to watch activity over different recent time frames

How It Works

  • By default, the report shows shifts from the last 30 minutes where equipment is acting as the destination

  • To adjust the window:

    1. Enter a new time value in minutes

    2. Click Recalculate

    3. The report will refresh based on your chosen interval

What’s Displayed

Each result includes:

  • The project name associated with the shift

  • A timestamp showing when activity was last recorded

  • The equipment identifier, as entered in your system

  • The calculated rolling feet per minute value, showing the unit’s current production speed

Important Notes

  • This report reflects only shifts where the destination equipment has registered recent roll activity

  • Roll time generally refers to the period when equipment is in motion (rolling) but not idling or actively working (e.g., not dumping or loading).

  • Data is calculated and refreshed in real time

  • Ideal for jobsite supervisors to validate pace, material flow, or identify issues during paving shifts
