FAQ

Q: What does “Duplicated From” mean?

A: It shows which original notification this duplicate came from.

Q: How do I create tiered alerts?

A: Duplicate an existing alert, adjust thresholds or recipients, and save each tier. The “Duplicated From” column helps you track them.

Q: Can I edit a notification without affecting duplicates?

A: Yes. Editing one notification does not change its duplicates—they remain separate alerts.

Q: What happens if I delete a notification?

A: Deleting a notification permanently removes it. This action cannot be undone.

Q: Can I recover a deleted notification?

A: No. Once deleted, a notification must be recreated manually if needed.

Example Use Case

  • Create an initial notification for “Idle > 10 min.”

  • Duplicate it twice, adjusting each copy for higher idle thresholds (20 min, 30 min).

  • Use the “Duplicated From” column to track which alert each tier originated from.

  • Quickly activate/deactivate tiers as operational needs change.
