A text message, email, or both
Assigned arrival time
Job location details
Any notes included for drivers
The specific channels depend on the driver’s contact info and site settings.
Notify Shift
After assigning your internal trucks and 3rd-party haulers on the Fulfill tab, use Notify Shift to send out the dispatch message. This window includes two sections: Drivers and 3rd Party Haulers. What you see in each section depends on who you assigned to the shift.
Messaging behavior is controlled by your Dispatch Settings, including whether messages are sent as Notify or Request, and whether pay rates are included.
Notify Assigned Drivers
This section lists all internal drivers that were assigned to the shift.
Notify sends a one-way message telling the driver where to be and when.
Request asks the driver to accept or decline the job.
The available buttons depend on your Messaging Behavior settings.
You can:
Select one or multiple drivers
Choose Notify or Request for each
Select Notify Drivers to send the message
Drivers assigned in this section are considered confirmed once they are sent a Notify message, unless your settings require confirmation.
