This article explains how to edit rates during fulfillment.
Edit Rates for Assigned Trucks
You can review and update pay rates for each truck assigned to the shift. Rates are managed from the Fulfill tab after trucks have been added to the schedule.
1. Open the Edit Rates Window
Go to the Fulfill tab.
Select Edit Rates.
A pop-up window titled Dispatch Rate Settings will appear.
2. Review the Current Rates
Each assigned truck appears in the list with:
Asset Name
Arrival Time
Load Time
Rate Type
Rate
When the window opens, any rates already shown in the Rate column are pulled from the company’s Custom Equipment Types. These act as the default values.
3. Adjust the Rate Type
Use the Rate Type dropdown to switch between:
Per Hour
Per Ton
Per Load
When you change the rate type, the Rate field automatically fills with the dollar amount stored in Custom Equipment Types for that specific rate type.
4. Enter or Override a Rate
Dispatchers can use the rate as-is or enter a different amount.
To override the default:
Delete the amount in the Rate field.
Type in the rate you want to use.
This allows flexibility for day/night shifts, special jobs, or broker-specific pricing.
When finished:
Select Save on each row, or
Select Save All at the bottom to apply all changes at once.
5. Optional: Include the Rate in Driver Messaging
If you want the rate to appear in a driver’s dispatch message:
Go to Settings from within the Dispatch Board.
Find Include Rate.
Choose Yes to include the rate, or No to hide it.
Only trucks with an assigned driver receive rate messaging.
Rate Limitations
Rates can only be added to actual internal or hired hauler trucks.
Placeholders cannot receive rates.
Rates apply per assignment, not across the entire shift.
