Introduction:
Assign Operators feature allows operators to be assigned to off-road equipment.
Navigation:
To access this feature:
Go to: Manage > People > Assign Operators to Equipment
Requirement: Must have Off-Road Equipment Types. Only off-road equipment may be assigned to operators on this page, and unlike assigning drivers to on-road trucks, users may assign more than one piece of off-road equipment to an operator at a time.
This page is split into multiple sections. The company dropdown menu is in the top right section. Unassigned Equipment is on the left most side of the page and Assigned Equipment will appear below. The Unassigned Operators are on the right most side of the page and Assigned Operators will appear below.
Third-party users will only see the equipment and operators that belong to their company. Use the fuzzy search at the top of each section to narrow down your search. Users may click and drag a piece of Off-Road equipment from the left to an operator listed on the right, and vice versa.
Assigning an Operator to Equipment:
Start by selecting the Company from the dropdown menu.
Click and Drag the equipment from the left to an operator on the right and release.
The Operator and Equipment will appear under Assigned Equipment and Assigned Operators.
Repeat this process to add multiple pieces of equipment to one operator.
Once assigned, the operator’s name will appear on the Equipment Card on the Map and Last GPS Location maps.
Remove an Operator from Equipment:
Locate the equipment or operator you want to remove.
Click the X to remove the equipment from the operator.
Each operator and equipment will return to the list of unassigned.
