Refueling Report

Track when equipment was refueled, including fuel level before and after, and estimated gallons added — based on fuel capacity settings.

Introduction

The Refueling Report identifies fueling events for equipment using supported BUS-connected devices. These devices must be both capable and properly configured to return fuel data.

The report shows start and end fuel levels, the time of fueling, and the amount of fuel added — if the equipment fuel capacity is configured. Results are limited to a 24-hour period.

If equipment is not capable of tracking fuel usage, or lacks a configured fuel capacity, the report will return no results or N/A in the Amount of Fuel column.

To access this feature:

Go to: Fleet > Fuel > Refueling Report

📌 Use This Report To:

  • View refueling events for supported BUS-connected equipment

  • Identify when and how much fuel was added to each asset

  • Compare starting and ending tank percentages

  • Spot unusually frequent or low-threshold fueling events

  • Export daily fueling data for audit or operations review

🧾 Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Select a Start Date and End Date

    • The report supports a maximum date range of 24 hours

    • If a range over 24 hours is selected, a popup will warn the user and prompt to click OK

  2. (Optional) Apply filters:

    • Asset Name

    • Asset Type (dropdown: On Road, Off Road, All)

    • Company (dropdown — click to select from list)

  3. Click Generate Report

⚙️ Fuel Capacity Setup Requirement

The Amount of Fuel column will only return a value if the equipment has a configured Fuel Capacity (Gallons).

To add or update fuel capacity:

  1. Go to: Manage > Equipment > Add/Edit Equipment

  2. Locate the asset

  3. Click the Edit button on the far left

  4. In the Equipment popup window, update the Fuel Capacity (Gallons) field

  5. Click Save

If fuel capacity is missing, the Amount of Fuel column will display N/A in the Refueling Report.

📋 Report Columns

  • Asset Name

  • Time of Fueling

  • Starting Percent

  • Ending Percent

  • Amount of Fuel (in gallons, if capacity is set)

There are no interactive elements — values are shown as static data for the selected 24-hour window.
