Introduction
The Fuel Usage by Project report displays daily fuel consumption totals for selected project names. Each project includes total gallons, plus idle and productive fuel percentages. The visual chart helps compare fuel performance across jobs.
Only equipment with BUS-connected devices capable of tracking fuel usage will return data in this report.
The report loads blank until filters are applied and Generate Report is clicked.

To access this feature:
Go to: Fleet > Fuel > Fuel Usage by Project
📌 Use This Report To:
See total gallons of fuel used by project
Compare idle vs. productive fuel percentages
Visualize usage by job site using a bar chart
Drill down into individual equipment and graphs per project
Export project-level fuel usage for reporting

🧾 Step-by-step Instructions
In the Project field, select one or more projects
Click the dropdown to see available project names
Selected projects appear as tags
Click the X next to any tag to remove it
The default value is All
Select a Start Date and End Date
If no date is selected, the system defaults to the previous full day
Click Generate Report
📊 Report Output
Each project appears as a bar in the chart
Red = Idle Fuel
Dark Gray = Productive Fuel
Hover over the chart to see specific gallon amounts
Click a bar to drill into fuel usage by equipment
The table below the chart includes:
Project Name
Total Fuel (Gallons)
Productive Percentage
Idle Percentage

🔍 Click Bar for Equipment (Drill down)
Clicking a bar in the fuel chart will open a popup window displaying all equipment assigned to that project and how much fuel each piece has used.
Each row includes:
Equipment Name
Manufacturer
Equipment Type
Fuel Used (Gallons)
A Graph button (when available)
Clicking the Graph button opens the Fuel Usage Graph for that specific asset.
