Accessing More Options in the Mobile App (iPhone)

Learn how to use the menu in the top-right corner of the iPhone app to view settings, send feedback, and manage preferences.

Introduction

On iPhones, the FleetWatcher mobile app includes a menu for quick access to app details and options. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the home screen to open the menu.

Navigation

To access these settings:

Home Screen > Tap the three dots (top-right corner)

Menu Options

Here’s what each option does:

  • Feedback
    ​     Send direct feedback or report issues. Type your message and tap Submit.

  • Documentation
    ​     Opens a built-in mobile guide with setup notes, usage tips, and basic requirements.
    ​

  • Profile/Password
    ​     Reset your password for the app. Requires at least 8 characters.

  • Access Control
    ​     View the status of key permissions like Notifications, Bluetooth, and Location. If something is disabled, you can tap Go To Settings to fix it.

  • App Options
    ​     Manage Locator Map behavior:
    ​

    • Save Locator Filters: When enabled, this will save your selected “Sort By” option when using the Locator tool.
      ​

    • Locator Map Animation: Enables animated transitions when viewing assets on the Locator Map.
      ​

    • Reset Icon Cache: Used for troubleshooting. If an asset icon has changed but hasn’t updated in the app, tapping this will force a refresh of icon
