Introduction
The Login History Report allows users to search login activity across a selected date range and by specific login names. This report provides detailed information about login times, success status, IP addresses, and optional geographic and device metadata.
Navigation
To access this feature:
Go to: Manage > People > Login History Report
Use This Report To:
Search login events by date or user name
Audit successful and failed login attempts
Review IP addresses and estimated login locations
Export login history for compliance or troubleshooting
Step-by-Step Instructions
Filtering and Generating the Report:
Set the Start Date and End Date for your search.
(Optional) Select a Login Name to search for a specific user.
Click Generate Report to display results.
Viewing the Report:
Review the following default columns:
Time of Login: The exact date and time of the login
Device Type: Web or Mobile
Login Name: Username or email used
Login Customer: Customer company associated with the user
Login Success: "Y" for successful login, "N" for unsuccessful login
Login IP: IP address used during login
Login Org: Detected internet provider organization
Login City: Best guess city (approx. 90% accurate)
Login State: Best guess state
Use Report Options to add optional data fields like:
Login Coordinates (Lat/Lng)
Login Browser
Login Country
Login Area Code
Login Metro Code
Login Zip
Login Session ID (unique browser session identifier)
Exporting the Report:
Click Print Table to print.
Click Download CSV to export raw data.
Click Excel Formatted CSV to export a formatted version for Excel.
Important Notes:
Report data can be filtered using both date and login name fields.
The Login Session ID helps identify unique sessions across different logins.
Location estimates are based on IP information and are approximately 90% accurate for state, 83% for Lat/Lng.
