Introduction
The Summary Productivity Report provides a fleet-wide or project-wide audit of performance by aggregating daily engine and GPS data into a single, high-level view. It tracks Run Time, Idle Time, and Productive Time across a specific date range, allowing you to spot high or low utilization trends, view visual graph summaries, and export data for in-depth performance analysis.
Navigation
To access this feature:
Go to: CMS > Summary Productivity > Summary Productivity
Step-by-step Instructions
Go to CMS > Summary Productivity > Summary Productivity.
Use the filters at the top of the page to choose what data to include:
Projects: Active / Inactive / Both
Equipment: Active / Retired / Both
Asset Type: On-Road / Off-Road
Use the Report Filters on the right to narrow results:
Select individual equipment
Select a project
Select an equipment type
Choose a start date and end date
If left blank, defaults to last 7 days
If only end date is blank, defaults to today
Choose your Time Format: Decimal or Minutes.
(Optional) Use the checkboxes under Report Options to add or remove columns:
Click Generate Report to view results.
If fewer than 50 pieces of equipment are in your system, you can click Generate Report without using filters.
If more than 50, use filters to narrow down your selection before generating.
Visualizing Your Data
At the top of the report, users can toggle between two primary visual aids to quickly identify project health:
Pie Chart (Default): This chart always reflects the Gross Totals for the entire selected project or equipment group. It provides an immediate "at-a-glance" look at the ratio of Productive Time vs. Idle Time for the whole site.
Bar Graph (Popup): Clicking the "Bar Graph" button opens a detailed comparison window titled "Idle Time vs. Productive Time."
Visual Stack: The red bar represents Idle Time, and the grey bar represents Productive Time.
Interactivity: Users can toggle checkboxes (Model, Equipment Type, Project) to refine the graph's view.
Drill-Down: Clicking an Equipment Number within this popup will launch the standard Equipment Details window.
The Heat Map (Color Coding)
To help managers spot "problem" machines quickly, the table uses hardcoded background colors:
Red: Low Productivity (60% or lower).
Green: High Productivity (80% or higher).
Toggle: If you prefer a plain table view, click "Toggle Background Colors" at the bottom of the report to remove the highlighting.
Understanding the Summary Table Columns
In addition to the standard Run, Idle, and Roll Time logic, this report includes:
Supp Time 1 & 2: Optional inputs for secondary sensors (e.g., "Broom Head Down" or "Water Spray On").
Loads & Loads Per Hour: These are permanent fixtures of the report. They will display 0 for non-hauling assets (like Brooms or Rollers) but will populate for hauling equipment integrated with scale tickets or load-tracking geofences.
Fuel Logic:
Calculated Fuel Usage: Provides an estimate of fuel consumed during the reporting period.
Hour Meter: Displays the current lifetime engine hours for the asset.
Navigation Shortcuts
Equipment Drill-Down: Clicking any Equipment Number in the main table or the bar graph popup will open the Equipment Details page for that specific asset. This is the fastest way to view maintenance logs or specific hardware configurations without leaving the report.
Totals & Averages
The footer of the report provides three critical data rows:
Gross Total: The sum of all activity for every piece of equipment selected.
Equipment Without Productivity Tracking: Assets in your fleet that are set up for location only, without engine/idle monitoring.
Net Total: The final calculated sum for the report.
Average: The mean performance percentages across the entire selected fleet.
