Where to Update Messaging Preferences
Go to:
MMS > Dispatch > Dispatch Board > Settings (top right corner).
There are three tabs:
1. Messaging Behavior
Controls how the system sends messages for each event type.
Use this tab to configure:
When messages are sent
Which events trigger notifications
Driver and broker notification rules
2. Dedicated Dispatchers
Controls which dispatchers receive notifications for assigned jobs.
Use this if certain dispatchers handle specific plants, customers, or job types.
3. Messaging Recipients
Controls who receives email or text messages for each event.
For each event type (New Order, Cancel, Pause, Loadout Changes, etc.), you can set:
Email On / Off
Text On / Off
User Groups to notify (Staff, Dispatchers, Brokers, Drivers)
Make sure:
The correct user group is selected
Text or email is enabled
“None” is not selected when notifications are required
Click Save Messaging Settings after updating.
