Introduction
The Last Inspection feature in the FleetWatcher Driver App lets drivers view the most recent inspection they completed.
This provides quick access to the previous report for reference — including checklist responses, failed items, and photos.
Step 1: Open the Last Inspection Page
From the Driver App home screen, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Select Last Inspection from the menu options.
The most recent inspection you completed will open automatically.
Important:
Drivers can only view their most recent inspection.
Past inspections beyond the most recent one are available only through the FleetWatcher web platform.
Step 2: Choose a View
Once the report opens, you can view it in two formats:
Summary View: Displays only the items that were marked as failed during the inspection.
Full Report: Shows all checklist items, including Pass, Fail, and N/A responses, along with any notes or photos.
Tap the Summary / Full Report toggle at the top of the screen to switch between views.
Step 3: Review Details and Photos
Tap any photo to enlarge it for a closer look.
Use this feature to verify previous defects or confirm repairs before your next shift.
Failed items are clearly labeled and appear at the top of the Summary view.
Trainer Tip: Encourage drivers to review their last inspection before starting their next trip.
It helps confirm that any previously reported issues were addressed.
Editing Inspections
Inspection Reports cannot be edited once submitted.
This ensures each report remains a verified record of the driver’s inspection.
If you notice a mistake in your last report, simply perform a new inspection and note the correction in the comments section.
Best Practices
Review your Last Inspection before each shift to stay informed about prior issues.
If a previous inspection shows unresolved defects, confirm with your supervisor before operating the equipment.
Always perform a new inspection before driving, even if your previous inspection was recent.
Common Questions
Q: Can I see inspections from other drivers?
A: No. Each driver can only access their own most recent inspection.
Q: My Last Inspection report is blank. Why?
A: You may not have completed an inspection yet. Perform a new inspection and the report will appear here afterward.
Q: Can I download my Last Inspection report?
A: No, but administrators can export any inspection report from the web platform if you need a copy.
