How to Create a Simple Dispatch Request (Mobile)

A Simple Dispatch request is used when you need trucks but no shift has been created. This option allows you to quickly request trucks from the field and notify the dispatcher to build the shift on the web.

Access Simple Dispatch

  1. Open the mobile app.

  2. Tap Material Management.

  3. Tap Dispatch.

  4. Under New Orders, tap the + button to the right of New Orders (0).

    • Tapping this immediately opens the Simple Dispatch form.

Required Fields

You must complete the following fields before submitting:

  • Start Date

  • Start Time

  • # Trucks

  • Source

  • Source Description

  • Destination or Destination Description

Optional fields include:

  • Mix

  • Is this a shift?

  • Comments / Details

Submit the Request

  1. Review your entries for accuracy.

  2. Tap Submit.

After submitting:

  • The request is sent to the dispatcher through the notification inbox.

  • The Simple Dispatch request appears directly under New Orders on the mobile Dispatch screen.

  • The count next to New Orders updates to show how many requests exist (example: New Orders (1)).

  • You can tap the Simple Dispatch request to open it and make edits if needed.
